A Celebration of Italian Design!

Celebrate Italian Automotive Design at the California Automobile Museum

On Saturday, September 11, 2010, the California Automobile Museum (CAM) will open a major exhibit of Italian vehicles that will run through Summer 2011. We are planning a ride and drive to the museum. The route is to be determined and you will be advised as soon as possible upon your sign up of the event.

During this exhibit, the Museum will take on an Italian persona, displaying the cars in a Piazza setting, playing Italian Music and coordinating special events around an Italian theme.

The FCA Pacific Region has been invited to the opening day ceremonies and has been requested to be participating in one or more of the following:

·       Grand Opening Car Show – displaying cars in the parking lot for patrons to view while we tour the Museum and have a catered lunch.  The museum staff will secure the lot. Admission to the Museum will be free. The media will be present so there will be opportunities to chat about your car with the local press.

·       Loaning one or more of your Italian collectibles (doesn’t have to be a Ferrari) for longer-term display (1-6 months) on the Museum floor. If you desire to do this, you will be advised to contact the museum directly.

·       Volunteers who would like to lend their time to provide training for our Museum tour guides on the history of Ferrari and the specific vehicles on display.

It is CAM’s hope to create a partnership beneficial to both parties through their Automobilia! Exhibit.

Let him know if you plan on doing all of the following: The ride and drive, the tour, be a volunteer and or to display your car long term or any combination of the above.
